3rd-5th Grade Mindfulness & Meditation Class
Mon-Fri daily mindfulness & meditation classes for 7-11 yr. olds that helps kids learn to absorb information better and pay attention to what’s happening in the present moment through all of their senses. Creative movement and yoga are integrated to reach that body-mind-breath connection. Then we will move through some mindfulness activities and end with a short but thorough meditation. Several studies suggest that kids who practice mindfulness tend to develop positive traits such as increased self-control, better attentiveness in class, and more empathy and respect for others.
